On Sunday, September 25, 2016 at about 8:15 PM Bay County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to

5127 Douglas Street in Callaway. The residents called and reported shoots being fired into an occupied dwelling.

When Deputies arrived they spoke to Miss Karla Moore, she showed the Deputies where the bullet holes were. She explained to the Deputies that the residence was occupied by her and three (3) of her family members.

The Deputies started walking the area looking for any evidence and found one shell casing in the street and two in the driveway of 516 Senaca Ave. The Deputies found a shoe on the side of that house that looked like it had been left by someone running away. With further investigation the Deputies located Marvin Tynan and Trey P. Miller.

After questioning it appears that a drug transaction had been arranged. When all parties to the transaction were together two of the suspects that came to purchase the narcotics allegedly sprayed Tynan and Miller with pepper spray. At this point Miller allegedly pulls a firearm and starts shooting and chasing one around the side of the house where three rounds missed and entered the residence across the street. One suspect was shot and is presently in ICU.

As of this press release three suspects have been arrested.

Jaylon Tavarus Nance, DOB 10/26/1995 for Robbery

Trey Pierce Miller, DOB 02/22/1999 for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Kamal Qujuan, DOB 04/26/1997 for Acc. to a Robbery

The investigation is still ongoing at this time and more arrests and charges are possible.
