On Sept. 16th the BADGES Task Force received a tip of a possible meth lab at 5324 Berthe Nelson Road. After investigating the tip the BADGE Task Force and investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office learned that Michael Anthony Graziano (W /M DOB: 02/25/1972) and his wife Christina Ann Graziano ( W/F DOB: 03/25/1980 ) were “ Babysitting” three minor children belonging to a Ashley L. Coatney ( W/F DOB: 05/05/1983 ). Coatney was on her way to Tampa to find a pain management doctor. The children are 12, 5 and 2 years old. DCF had the children cleared by a doctor and were released to their great grand mother.
After further investigation the task force found an active meth lab in the house. The Graziano’s were charged with, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone, alprazolm), manufacturing meth in a structure with a child under 16, trafficking meth more than 20 grams, possession of paraphernalia, as well child abuse. Both Graziano’s were out on bond for an arrest last month for possession of drugs and guns.
A region wide BOLO was issued for Ashley Coatney, she was picked up this afternoon and will be charged with 3 counts of aggravated child abuse. Additional charges on all three defendants is still pending.
