Through subsequent investigation in this case, information was found that lead to a possible location of the stolen Apple MacBook laptop. The victims were able to use a GPS locating program on their laptop that showed its location as being near the intersection of US Highway 231 and 23rd Street. Upon further investigation in that area, it was learned that the suspects in the case were
possibly in room #200. Upon making contact with the occupants of room #200, two individuals were detained.

Tarah Parson and Justin Cleveland were found in the room and were detained for questioning. Upon securing the room to ensure that no one was hiding inside, several items were observed on the floor and around the room that appeared to be consistent with the items that had been stolen from the victims.

The room was secured with investigators present and I obtained a search warrant for room #200. Upon execution of the search warrant, multiple items were recovered and later identified by the victims to be their property. Justin Cleveland and Tarah Parson were arrested in connection with the robbery, and arrest warrants were obtained for Jason Charles Adams in connection with the case as well. See property file, property receipt, and search warrant return for a complete listing of the items recovered from the room. See case file for further information on this case.
