The Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery call Saturday evening, April 16, 2016, at about 9:50, at the Exxon Station at 2505 Highway 231.
The clerk stated a black male had just entered the store and demanded money from the register. He displayed a firearm wrapped in red or pink stocking-like material. He was over six feet tall and wearing a black and gray hoodie with a white cloth wrapped around his face.
He also wore black sweatpants with white lettering down the left leg and white shoes. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect grabbed the money and ran out of the store. He did not have a vehicle in the parking lot, but ran away on foot and into a wooded area near Game Farm Road.
Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
