Are You One Of This Guys Victims

Seam Be;psocAn enterprising drug dealer reached out online to the wrong person on April 4, 2018, when he tried to set up a spontaneous drug transaction with a man he did not know was a Bay County Sheriff’s Office  investigator.

Sean Belosic offered to sell the investigator an “eight ball” of Methamphetamine. The investigator, realizing that Belosic did not know he had contacted a law enforcement officer, allowed Belosic to set up a time and location to conduct the sale. The sale was to occur on April 5, 2018.

Instead of meeting a perspective buyer for his meth, Belosic was met by investigators from Criminal Investigations and Special Investigations Divisions from the BCSO. Belosic was apprehended and a BB gun was found in his waistband. The BB gun was designed to look like a real firearm.

Belosic was interviewed and told investigators he intended to rob the person he was meeting. Belosic claimed to have robbed so many people in a similar manner that he had lost count.

Sean Belosic, age 34, of 801 W. 13th Street, was charged with Robbery with a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Sale of Methamphetamine, Misuse of a Two-Way Communication Device, and Failure to Register as a Convicted Felon.

Anyone who has similar contact with Sean Belosic is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700.
