Our mission at BayCommunityNews.com is to provide the residents of Bay County and Northwest Florida with local news and information about events concerning our community. We believe that we, the people have a right to know, and so, we print news releases and police reports exactly as they are received.
Bay Community News is an independent news sources, locally owned and operated and free from the pressure or agenda of a faraway corporate owner. We are dedicated to providing the news to our readers and online users as quickly, completely and fairly as possible. While our main focus is serving the Bay County area, we do include news from the surrounding counties, the state and the federal government – that is of interest or affects our local area. Our goal is to present the news without favor to any party or point of view.
Given the pressure of deadlines and our own shortcomings, we recognize that we won’t always reach our goals. We’re committed to acknowledging and correcting mistakes as quickly as possible. If you wish to have a mug shot or story about yourself removed, you may send the information HERE.
Comments about and criticism of the website can be sent privately HERE, or, you can post to our comments publicly to our forums section. We’ll respond in a timely manner.
